With so much to celebrate in October, Non Stop Bhangra returns to the Rickshaw Stop to ring in 5 years of Bhangra beats in the Bay Area! NSB's humble roots started as the 1 year anniversary of Dholrhythms teaching Bhangra. Fast forward 6 years and NSB is one of the most exciting and unique parties in San Francisco. If that is not enough to get you excited, this month's event falls on Diwali, the auspicious Indian "Festival Of Lights."
Joining Jimmy Love on the decks this month is a double header with Tony Talwar all the way from Chicago and local hero J-Boogie (OM Records). The full Non Stop Bhangra crew will hold it down live featuring a mash up of live drums and MC's over Non Stop Indian beats. The beautiful women of Dholrhythms will be on hand to lead the Bhangra dance lesson, making your shoulders shrug with glee.
